18. Teaching Piano Using the Dalcroze Method

Integrating the core elements of the Dalcroze Method into piano lessons has been the focus of Seung-Ji Ryu’s teaching and research for the past fifteen years. This workshop will demonstrate how her lesson models increase the musicality of piano students through the incorporation of eurhythmic movement, ear training and solfege, and improvisation.
