The 14th Forum of Jacque-Dalcroze Society of Japan

Date :, March 5(Sun) ,2017, 15: 00-17: 15
Place: Kugayama Kindergarten Hall

Part 1 presented three “ Plastique animée ” (Music Visualization) and one arrangement from the excellent performance in the Dalcroze License Examination last year.
“ Plastique animée” and arrangements are rarely appreciated, but the presentation performed in front of us. It were very impressed us.

Part II invited Mamoru Sakata, a butoh and choreographer, to hold a workshop on physical expression.
The theme was "breathing, movement, words, music", and at the end, Sakata performed his own dance.
We were able to feel the part that leads to Dalcroze with our skin, and all the participants were able to finish the Forum with excitement.

「Body Mapping workshop」
- Body that any musician wants to know -

Date : March 1(Sun), 2015, 15: 00-17: 00
Place: Kugayama Kindergarten Hall
Lecturer: Kayono Nagai

The 12th Forum was held with Kayono Nagai, a flute player and leader of body mapping (especially body mapping specialized for musicians).
It was a cold day with rain this year like last year, but many members gathered, and the training of Nagai warmed our body and heart.
It started with a story about your encounter with your body mapping in the gentle tones of Nagai. We were interested in the fact that the quality of the sound changes with a little ingenuity of how to use the body, as we were re-aware of the structure of the body while looking at the image, and we were trying to notice the difference in sound while actually speaking out and moving our body.
